Episode 53: The Enneagram Action Step Video
It's one thing to know yourself. It's another thing to take action that will work best for you based on that knowledge.
Here we are one week into the New Year and self improvement is still fresh in many of our minds. When striving to be our best selves in midlife it's important to know who we really are and to be that person fully. This is where tools like the enneagram come into play. But learning about yourself through such tools is only one piece to the puzzle. If we really want to grow, the next step is implementing activities that will strengthen us based on our make up.
So in this week's episode of Life after Kids with Drs. Brooke and Lynne, we're discussing various action steps that each Enneagram Type can take to become the healthiest, most balanced version of themselves. We'll briefly describe each Enneagram type followed by a practical activity that would be the most valuable form of self care for that type.
If you're unsure of your Enneagram Type, here are a few useful tips:
Listen to our descriptions in the video and see if one resonates with you more than the others
Read the book, "The Road Back To You", By Ian Morgan Cron to learn more about each type
Ditch the online tests, instead, do you own reading and research then spend some time in quiet self reflection to discover what your type is.
Work with a coach that can help you understand yourself better.
